OpenText release LiquidOffice 22.2

OpenText have released the latest update to LiquidOffice. The new version is OpenText LiquidOffice 22.2. The previous version was LiquidOffice 21.2. In this blog, we provide an overview of the latest update, including a jargon-busting explanation of each new feature.

What is LiquidOffice?

OpenText LiquidOffice is an intelligent forms automation solution that enables organisations to use rich web and PDF forms to collect, route, and process information.

New updates

LiquidOffice 22.2 delivers new features that help:

  • Users access data collected
  • Developers deliver integrated solutions
  • Administrators support new platform

Enhanced user experience

The "My Data" interface now allows access to form data from within the portal. Additionally, the "Save for Later" button enables users to save forms for completion later. Also, a refreshed user interface includes updates to login screens, messages, and more.

New integration options

New REST APIs have been introduced to facilitate custom portal development.

A fully functional portal example code that uses the new REST APIs provides users a template from which they can build their own custom portal.

Platform support and technology upgrades

  • Embedded technology upgrades including Apache® TomEE+/Tomcat®, and Log4j
  • Support for Java™ 17, Microsoft® Windows™ 11, Microsoft Windows Server 2022, PostgreSQL 13 and 14, OpenText™ TeleForm™ 22.1, OpenText™ Directory Services 21.3, OpenText™ Content Server 22.1, and Microsoft Outlook™ 2021

For customers with a current support and maintenance contact, please contact us to find out if you are eligible for an upgrade. We can also help if you are no longer supported and wish to upgrade. Upgrading from a previous version of LiquidOffice is a simple migration which will preserve all your existing form templates, scripts, and configurations.
