SyriaTel introduce TeleForm based voting system to process ballot papers

SyriaTel has been Syria’s leading mobile telecommunications company since 2000. Regionally recognised as one of the fastest growing operators, SyriaTel's 1,450 skilled employees serve over 1,400,000 customers, representing 55% of the total market.

The challenge

To develop an efficient process for handling ballots at the quarterly meeting of SyriaTel's 10,000 shareholders. Data from ballot papers must be captured and counted with the result announced within two hours.

The solution

This software enables us to hold effective and efficient shareholder meetings, with a state-of-the-art voting system. The pre-sale support package was handled very effectively. Our objectives were understood and taken on board and ePC matched our requirements. Where we had queries, they were answered speedily and they worked with us to achieve a best practice strategy on utilising TeleForm.

ePC installed TeleForm - including the TeleForm Designer, TeleForm Reader, TeleForm Scan Station, AutoMerge Publisher (AMP) and TeleForm Verifier modules - to generate voting forms for scanning and processing to deliver quick turnaround of poll results.
