Job description

We are looking for a software engineer, to assist our small team of skilled technical consultants and developers. We develop high-value, automated forms processing and workflow software based upon a combination of off-the-shelf products and bespoke components. This means opportunities will exists for both scripting and customisation of existing software and from-scratch development of new products.

The position will provide support from experienced staff as needed, a relaxed and enjoyable working environment with potential to expand into all aspects of development, project management, technical consultation and product management.

The current team have varied responsibilities, so in addition the role could also include aspects of support, web design and maintenance, pre-sales prototypes, client facing meetings, training or installations. It really is a great opportunity for a varied role, with opportunities to specialise in any areas mentioned.

Desired skills and experience

In our day-to-day work, we develop, integrate and support both traditional and web applications using a variety of technologies including:

  • C#, VB, .NET and Blazor
  • SQL Server
  • Windows and IIS
  • JavaScript, HTML and CSS

While advanced skills in all the above are not necessary, a good understanding of most is advantageous. Certainly, the ability to hit the ground running with .NET development and a positive can-do attitude to new challenges is essential, as is some good experience in developing software within a business environment.
