Process Director named in the 2017 Gartner 'Magic Quadrant for iBPMS'
Process Director by BP Logix has been named as a ‘Niche Player’ in the Gartner 'Magic Quadrant for Intelligent Business Process Management Suites (iBPMS)' for the third year in a row.
What is the Magic Quadrant?
The Magic Quadrant plots 19 providers on a grid along the X axis (the ability to execute) and Y axis (completeness of vision). The grid is divided into four (magic) quadrants - niche players, challengers, visionaries, and leaders.
The report reviews the iBPMS market and evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of each vendor, offering critical advice for any organisation considering an iBPMS platform to support digital transformation.
What is an iBPMS?
According to Gartner, an iBPMS is an integrated set of technologies that coordinate people, machines and things. It emphasises:
- Support for real-time human collaboration, including integration with social media, mobile and cloud access to processes.
- Advanced analytics, real-time activity monitoring and decision management for intelligent coordination and management of the interactions of process participants
Market overview
In the 2017 Magic Quadrant, the focus on using an iBPMS to address more-complex work styles that may be less structured or unstructured continues.
The other main focus this year is on making iBPMS’ user friendly so that business users/analysts can author solutions with minimal involvement from IT.
