ePC secure place on the UK Government’s G-Cloud 9 framework

We are delighted to announce we have been awarded a place on the UK Government’s G-Cloud 9 framework. Our service ID number is 1825 2361 5717 281.

What is G-Cloud 9?

G-Cloud 9 is an initiative targeted at streamlining the procurement of cloud services by public sector organisations. It offers:

• An OJEU compliant framework agreement with suppliers, from which public sector organisations can procure cloud services without needing to run a full tender, RFQ, ITT or procurement process
• An online store called the ‘Digital Marketplace’ that allows public sector organisations to search for services that are covered by the G-Cloud framework

Since G-Cloud 2, two versions of the G-Cloud framework have run in parallel. The Crown Commercial Service (CCS), the agency operating the framework on behalf of the Cabinet Office, have decided that G-Cloud 9 will replace G-Cloud 7 and G-Cloud 8 in order to create a single iteration of the framework.

The changes have been made in response to user research with both suppliers and buyers in an effort to clearly define the services and make them more attractive and easier to use.

From today, public sector organisations can use the G-Cloud 9 framework on the Digital Marketplace to find over 2,847 suppliers across three categories. They are:

• Cloud hosting
• Cloud software
• Cloud support

Cloud software

Our cloud software products include Process Director, a unique, web-based solution that defines, automates, manages and reports on business processes without programming. It delivers BPM through an intelligent combination of integrated technologies, including electronic forms processing, business rules engine, workflow, reporting dashboard, business activity monitoring, content management, web portals, application integration and an embedded Software Development Kit (SDK).

Cloud support

Our cloud support solutions include project specification, project management, implementation, training and technical support.

According to official figures released in January this year, total spend across all iterations of G-Cloud reached £1.69bn by November 2016 with 56% of total sales by value and 64% by volume, awarded to SMEs.
