Electric Paper was founded in 1996 and now has offices in Lüneburg, Frankfurt, Berlin and Zurich. They have developed add-on modules for TeleForm to allow form definitions to be exported as intelligent eForms in Acrobat PDF or HTML formats. All fields created in the TeleForm Designer (entry fields, segmented handwriting, single choice, multiple choice, text fields, date fields etc) are converted to PDF or HTML forms for web or eMail completion by end recipients.
The Data Agent then decrypts any encrypted information sent from completed forms and directs it to the TeleForm Reader for interpretation, logic checks and graphic generation.
Convert paper forms into powerful online data collection tools. The PDF+Forms option enables organisations to take their existing paper forms and publish them as dynamic PDF forms to be presented via web or eMail, either blank or pre-filled.
PDF+Forms doubles the value of your TeleForm Solution by enhancing TeleForm with many functions for the hybrid capturing of paper and eForms. Imagine if you could present your paper forms on your web site for users to open and intuitively fill-in on screen with rules and lookups enforced. Once complete, the end user may submit all the form data electronically or perhaps also print for an ink signature or further completion by hand. Because the printed form looks identical to your TeleForm forms, it can be faxed or scanned and then read automatically, just like any other paper form, except the vagaries of human handwriting are removed.
It supports Acrobat Reader version 5 onwards and can also be used with Adobe LiveCycle Extensions for modifying eForms in the recognised Acrobat PDF format. Additional features include high performance form merge functions
for the pre-filling and sending of eForms as well as the acceptance
of eForm data by web server, eMail, database and directory polling. It includes an FTP client and flexible options for collecting
submitted data.

Extending the functionality of being able to export your
TeleForm forms as PDFs is the HTML+Forms option, which adds the
ability to publish your forms as HTML files. This opens up
form completion and on-line submission to non-PDF able systems
such as set-top-boxes, web kiosks, PDA and mobile phones.
