The Client

The Clinical Trials Group of the Department of Surgery at the University College London, co-ordinates large multi-centre phase III randomised cancer clinical trials. The objective of the studies is to evaluate treatments for patients with cancer. This is done by very careful scientific design of studies, collection of information on treatment and follow-up of patients placed on specific treatment protocols, and appropriate analysis of the data obtained.

The Challenge

To capture and verify clinical trials data from patient follow-up forms, whilst automatically handling the feedback and correction loop for forms missing or containing incorrect data.
