The Client

MenAfriCar (the African Meningococcal Carriage Consortium) is a global research effort to study how meningococcal meningitis is spread in Africa and to document the impact of a new meningitis vaccine on reducing transmission.

The Challenge

With on-going research in 7 countries across the meningitis belt of Africa, MenAfriCar needed a system whereby they could efficiently collate data from thousands of study participants into one format and be able to store these records locally and also securely share this information with those involved in the project in London.
